The Lake by ~ShadedTear

Emptiness I take a lookEmptiness by ~ShadedTear
At an empty scene
It's like a book
Yet simply a dream
Two figures there
Looking like such a pair
I see myself where
A figure would stare
The other figure
I can't see a fit
A person gone
Just an empty stare
Who is that person
That I see there
In the scene
That I dared dream
I take a look
At the empty scene
It's like a book
Yet simply a dream
An empty space
In that heart of mine
The book and dream
An outlook of thine

My Opponent My opponent standsMy Opponent by ~ShadedTear
Facing me like I face
The look of death
Eyes looking to race
It comes at me
Words spoken
cold heartedly
Like a knife unsheathed
Dodging each word
Like a ninja
Staring back at the figure
My eyes full of anger
My words start jabbing
Like a sword into flesh
Carving away at this figure
Till there's nothing left
But a mask
Two words
"It's over"
Cause the mask to crack
The mask that looked like my enemy
Turned out to be my friend
As the mask falls the face is seen
Oh god what have I done
The mask that I hated
Turned out to be one I loved
Now she stares at me blankly
As I cry over her

Red Sadness I sit in the cornerRed Sadness by ~ShadedTear
Staring at the phone
The ringing laughter
The red on it's ear
It rings again
The same old laugh
Urging me on
To finish the song
The ringing louder
Hysterical laughter
The red drops flowing
from it's ear
I grip the receiver
Pick up the phone
The insults and laughter
Ringing through my head
I put it to my ear
Voices screaming of failure
And everlasting hatred
I hang up the phone
Red spread on the end
I sit back in the corner
And lay back to rest
. . . The ringing starts
The laughter rising
I know the pain it brings
But I let it start again
